IHA Practitioner Code of Ethics & Liability Agreement
As an applicant and certified practitioner within the International Healing Alliance (IHA) network, I hereby agree to strictly adhere to the following professional code of ethics and liability terms:
1. Professional Boundaries & Disclaimers to Clients I agree that I will NEVER diagnose medical or psychological conditions, prescribe medication, or interfere with a client’s prescribed medical treatments. I commit to explicitly stating to all clients that my healing modalities are complementary and spiritual in nature, and are not a replacement for licensed medical or psychological care.
2. Authentic Representation I certify that all credentials, certifications, professional experience, and platform URLs provided in my application are true, accurate, and up-to-date. I understand that misrepresentation of my skills or identity will result in the immediate and permanent termination of my membership without refund.
3. Client Confidentiality & Safety I pledge to maintain the absolute confidentiality of all professional client interactions, records, and personal information, unless disclosure is required by governing laws. I will create a safe, respectful, and non-exploitative environment for all sessions.
4. Indemnification of the Platform (IHA) I hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the International Healing Alliance (IHA), its founders, directors, and affiliates from any and all legal claims, liabilities, lawsuits, damages, or financial losses (including legal fees) arising from my professional practice, sessions, workshops, marketing, or any interactions with clients obtained through the IHA platform.
5. Compliance Audits I acknowledge that IHA reserves the right to audit my profile and linked platforms at any time to verify compliance with the "Badge and Hyperlink Rule." Failure to display the required badge correctly may result in my profile being temporarily hidden until rectified.
