When I first tried meditation, I felt very confused and uneasy. My thoughts were like a runaway horse, constantly galloping in my mind, making it impossible for me to concentrate. But over time, I gradually learned how to calm my mind and let those chaotic thoughts slowly settle down.
During meditation, I began to pay attention to my breathing. Each deep breath is like injecting a new energy into my body and soul. I feel the air flowing in my nostrils, entering my lungs, and then slowly exhaling. This feeling of focusing on breathing allows me to establish a deeper connection with my body and also makes me understand my inner needs better.
Meditation also helps me learn how to observe my thoughts and emotions instead of being controlled by them. When negative emotions and thoughts arise, I no longer panic or be trapped in them like before. Instead, I learn to observe them objectively and then let them pass by gently, just like clouds passing in the sky.
Through meditation, I also discovered the deep tranquility and strength within. In that peaceful space, I feel an unconditional love and acceptance. I no longer be too harsh on myself nor pursue perfection. I begin to learn to appreciate my imperfections, accept my past and present, and be full of confidence and hope for the future.
Meditation is not only a personal practice but also a bridge for us to establish connections with others. When our hearts are filled with peace and love, we will also be more likely to establish deep relationships with others and give them support and help.
In my healing journey, meditation has become an indispensable part. It helps me find inner peace and strength, enabling me to better deal with the challenges and pressures of life. I believe that as long as we are willing to take the time to explore and practice, meditation can also become everyone's healing path.
